back rivers lammas land
2024 Size: 30cm x 43cm Edition: 30 Stock: Southbank Smooth 160gsm Process: Letterpress This print was created at London Centre for Book Arts. It is the ninth iteration of the Typographic Landscape series, considering how experience of place can be represented using the materials of typography and letterpress printing. It concerns the route(s) taken to the studio via the River Lea navigable waterway system. 'Lammas land' is land which was communally-available as grazing for animals. Perhaps it is still communally-available, rather than 'owned' by the vultures who currently circle the outer-lying areas of all cities worldwide. Price: £30 Contact me to purchase |
